Villa Turicum

Villa Turicum carries one of the great names of Chicago's North Shore, a continuation of the Rockefeller estate on more than five acres of Lake Forest bluff. With over 570 feet of private Lake Michigan frontage, it is described as the largest lakefront estate ever offered to the public.
The approach can begin from the water, at a protected cove beach with two boat launches and a boathouse, then up the original Italian-inspired terraced stairways past the historic shell fountain and Edith Rockefeller's famous alligator sculpture.
At the top of the bluff stands the residence itself, completed in 2019, with 20,000 square feet of finished space and open, unobstructed views of the lake from the entire east side. Walnut paneling, limestone floors set with golden stone from Jerusalem, a wrought-iron curved staircase and a library styled after a private club set the tone, with a resort-level pool, outdoor kitchen and stone spa outside.
